Tuberculosis Service Targets 200 Residents

As many as 200 residents participated tuberculosis service at Semanan Urban Village office, Kalideres Sub-district, West Jakarta, Thursday (2/29).

Kalideres Sub-district's Community Health Medical Staff, Fitri, said the service was also cooperated with Semanan Urban Village and Kalideres Sub-district Community Health Center. The service was opened from 8 AM to 3 PM. There was also one rontgen car unit and seven medical personnel to support the program.

"Medical personnel checked residents' sugar blood, rontgen thorax, and phlegm," she said.

Residents Appreciate Free TB Testing Service in Kalideres

Semanan Urban Village Head, Bayu F Gontha, explained the service targeted PJLP and PPSU personnel of Semanan Urban Village.

"The service is also aimed to anticipate tuberculosis. If there were tuberculosis patients, they will be handled by sub-district community health for further treatment," he admitted.

Meanwhile, Subardi (51), resident of RT 05/02, Semanan Urban Village, appreciated the service which was held for free.

"The service is good since it is also aimed to anticipate tuberculosis," he closed.
